With last years bad weather throughout the summer and this years economic crisis (and bad weather again!) Samson have given themselves a pat on the back with the news of an increase in sales of patio awnings and commercial umbrellas.
The overall market in the UK is reported as significantly down on 2008 but Samson Awnings has stuck to its long term principal of providing the very highest quality awning products and it certainly seems to have paid off.
Some very exciting new products are to be launched for 2010 to tackle outdoor 'al fresco' dining, drinking and entertaining for the traditional U.K. weather and should be very well received based on the demand we have seen at Samson Awnings.
Markilux has been the main awning range sold this year and last year they were among the highest price ranges on offer. It seems home owners are getting good at seeking out the quality products to invest in, making good long term sense. Remember the old saying 'quality remains long after the price is forgotten'
