Description

The Hormann Decotherm is a masterpiece of engineering and is describing the lath sections used in this superb electric roller shutter industrial door from Hormann. The Decotherm uses one of very few roller door lath types which offer a true insulation value in a roller shutter type door. it effectively has a thermal bridge due to the unique design of the lath section which is also one of the thickest in its class of roller door.

A direct drive electric motor is the future for industrial doors, offering less moving parts and maintenance as well as a far more powerful movement enabling variable speeds and higher daily usage performance.
The S6 package for the DD Decotherm provides speeds of up to 1.1m per second which is getting towards the speed of many traditional high speed fabric curtains, none of which offer the insulation and strength of this type of roller door. Worth a look if you think you need a high speed door perhaps in your building, maybe just change your standard roller shutter steel door for one fo these and problem is solved with many additional benefits.

Hormann are known for their safety and compliance so rest assured this superb roller shutter door ticks all the boxes and some others which didnt exist until recently. As a made to measure roller door for a massive variety of application this is a door where quality matters and reliability is important.

From the barrel, guides, curtain and motor drive this roler door only uses the latest technology for the very best operation each time.

Sizes up to 10 wide and 8m high are possible.
Unique side guide design means minimial side room required
Excellent and quiet motor drive options

Measure

When measuring for ANY roller shutter door there is an assumption the door will be fitted to the inside face of the structural opening, which is certainly the case in most installatons for maximising width and height, placing the guides and the curtain roll out of the way of the actual aperture.

The width and height of the aperture is the measurement to focus on and then add in the width and height of the inside return and the headroom above the lintel available.

A roller shutter door can be fitted to the inside face as well as the outside face (with a hood cover) but also inbetween the aperture if there isnt any available headroom or sideroom. It is one of the most verstile types of door available in this respect,
