HG Roller Grilles

The Hormann HG roller grille is the perfect solution to good visibility, high ventilation and outstanding security. It is equipped as standard with a burglar-deterrent security shutter kit to prevent forced entry. When the grilles are electrically automated, a roll-up safety device and closing edge safety device prevent injuries and damage to the curtain. For maximum security, we recommend the implementation of a through-traffic photocell.

Safety with Good Ventilation and a Clear View

The Hormann HG range of roller grillesis the superb answer if a shutter is only operated a few times each day, e.g. in shopping arcades. Grille and honeycomb connection designs are offered as standard in bright-rolled aluminium. On request high-grade powder-coated in factory colour off-white (similar to RAL 9002), in colour shades to RAL or NCS or anodised to DIN 17611 in natural colour(E6/EV1).

Roll-up & closing edge safety
When shutters are automated, a roll-up safety device and closing edge safety device prevent injuries to persons and damage to the actual curtain. For underground garages and forklift truck traffic an optional through-traffic photocell is recommended.

The Hormann HG is available in 5 profiles; HG-A Standard Aluminium, HG-V Reinforced Aluminium, HG-S Robust Steel, HG-E Stainless Steel and HG-L Lightweight Aluminium.

HG-A - Standard Aluminium profile
For small openings or if a shutter is operated only a few times each day e.g. private access, night-time closures. Grille and honeycomb connections are available as standard in bright-rolled aluminium. On request high-grade poder-coated in factory colour grey white (Similar to RAL 9002), in colour shades to RAL or NCS or anodised to DIN 17611 in natural colour (E6/EV1).

HG-V - Reinforced Aluminium profile (not pictured)
For wider structural openings or a higher number of operations per day, such as underground garages or multi-storey car parks. The grille is constructed from bright-rolled aluminium with reniforced honeycomb connections in bright rolled stainless steel (V2A). It is lightweight yet offers high stability for wider openings.

HG-S - Robust Steel profile
The inexpensive model for wider openings and offers a high number of cycles for regular use. The grille and honeycomb connections are in galvanised steel as standard. Available on request in a high-grade powder-coated layer in factory colour grey white (similar to RAL 9002) or in a colour shade to RAL or NCS.

HG-E - Stainless Steel profile
Grille and honeycomb connections constructed in bright-rolled stainless steel (V2A). A version that produces a particularly polished appearance.

HG-L - Lightweight Aluminium profile
The elegant and space-saving version, particularly suitable for use in shopping arcades. Aluminium grille and honeycomb connections with crossbars as trap guards and to provide additional reach-through protection. On request in colours according to the RAL and NCS colour charts or anodised to DIN 17611 in natural colour (E/EV1).
