Description

Secur-Dor 24 is a high quality steel doorset for use in many applications, commercial or domestic and offers compliance with a requirement from an increasing number of architects and designers looking to ensure the very best design in any given building.
The Secur-Dor is a made to measure steel doorset with addtional features possible on request over and above being an internal or external dorset with PAS24 certification. The size, colour, hardware, insulation value and other aspects can all be specified to suit many applications.

The Secur-Dor PAS 24 approved doorsets are to combat the threat of attack and burglary in social housing and new-build designs, meaning improved security and peace of mind.

The PAS 24 is an attack test standard for doorsets which certifies that a particular door, frame, lock and hardware set has withstood a series of controlled physical tests based on common methods of burglary. These doorsets provide the minimum police requirement for ‘Secured by Design’ dwellings. The PAS 24 standard is awarded by a UKAS accredited certification body and replaces a number of earlier standards with effect from August 2012. This standard assures the purchaser that the product has been manufactured to an approved, and verified, standard.

Robust SECUR-DOR has been successfully tested to Warrington Exova Certisecure STS 202 and PAS 24 standards, and is included in the ‘Secured by Design’ scheme; the official UK Police initiative to ‘design out crime’.

SECUR-DOR 2 (STS 202 BR2 & PAS 24) and SECUR-DOR 3 (STS 202 BR3) are both included on the ‘Secured by Design’ scheme.

SECUR-DOR 4 is tested to the Euopean Security Standard DD ENV 1627:1999 and further enhanced for blast resistance – tested to EXR2 and EXR3 of the BS EN 13124-2:2004 Explosion Resistance standard.

Application
