Roller Security Shutters
Samson offer a wide variety of security shutters in aluminium or steel for doors, windows and other applications in domestic or commercial buildings. All our security shutters are made to measure as standard and available up to very large sizes. Aluminium double skinned shutter curtains with either a foam filled core, or extruded double skinned slats for maximum strength and resistance to force. We also offer curtains with punched and perforated sections for vision or ventilation, ideal for bars, retail shops and other applications where some light, vision or venting is required.
Security shutters fitted externally over windows and doors provide maximum security when the building is unoccupied. Properly specified and installed they will protect any building very well against vandalism and forced entry. The level of security is determined by the shutter model with certified security rated models available from SR1 up to SR4 - LPS1175 issue 8 Secure by design accreditation on many models as required by many more clients.
Aluminium Security Shutters
Our aluminium range of shutters are ideal for domestic or commercial applications where the aesthetics are more important. The aluminium slats and overall finish is of a very high standard with excellent powdercoat colours in standard or non standard options. Aluminium shutters offer the best integration into existing buildings and facades with the smallest hood cover sizes and finest finishes at any angle or corner. The Seceuroshield range is a range developed over more than 38 years now and is honed to perfection in every detail, from the smallest internal components to the external controls and final finish. Details matter when there are so many moving parts in any roller shutter.
Steel Security Shutters
For larger doors and windows our steel range of shutters are more suited, especially if the application is more industrial and maybe not even seen. The steel shutters offer great resistance to force attempts but have larger profiles, hood covers and guides generally.
LPS1175 Certified
We offer security rated, tested and approved security shutters. Approved LPCB products with proper third party testing. We can offer LPS1175 certified security shutters in SR1, SR1, SR3 and SR4 security levels. Insurance approval and approval by the Secured by Design initiative are becoming more and more important to so many customers who seek proper peace of mind knowing they have done their best in securing their properties.
Manual and Electric Security Shutters
All our security shutters are made to measure as standard with a usual lead time of around 2-3 weeks. There are manual, spring assisted models and many more electric operated shutters with various controls for internal and external use. The best shutter model is usually defined by size but also the level of security required. Our Seceuroshield 150 model is far more for light and heat control and still used in Europe far more instead of curtains or blinds internally, then the 3801 is an SR1 extruded, double skinned, aluminium shutter for medium to higher level security risk applications. There are many more models in between these 2 and above the security level of the 38.
