Samson’s trackless steel barriers provide a durable, versatile, and easy-to-install solution for access control, area protection, and crowd management. Designed with a collapsible, trackless diamond trellis design, these barriers eliminate the need for fixed top or bottom tracks, ensuring a smooth, unobstructed surface suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
The barrier is constructed from 12.7mm x 12.7mm x 0.9mm cold-rolled steel tubular sections fitted into 38mm U-channel ends, with pivot pins forming multiple diamond-shaped openings. All sections are electroplated and epoxy-coated for excellent corrosion resistance. Each unit can include steel hinges, allowing one side to swing aside up to nearly 180 degrees when retracted. The barrier sash compresses to just 15–20% of its full width for compact storage.
Installation is simple, with wall-mounted or freestanding options depending on your site requirements. Optional locks and configurations provide flexible operation to suit various security needs.
Free Standing Barriers
Using one or more trolleys with single or double angled support wheels, a trackless barrier system can secure an opening or create a corner barrier. Multiple units can connect to cover large widths, with a standard maximum height of 2500mm. These units are easily movable and ideal for temporary access control or crowd management.
Wall Mounted Barrier Systems
Trackless barriers are ideal for mounting to the face or reveal of any aperture. With the hinged and fixed side able to move between 0 and nearly 180 degrees, there is flexibility in the final locking position. Perfect for securing windows, doorways, or creating partitions in factories, retail outlets, warehouses, showrooms, and public spaces. Optional bottom rolling wheels can be added for smooth movement and support.
