Trackless Barrier Systems

Our trackless steel barriers offer a very effective method for controlling access to areas or to use as lower security applications over doorways and windows. Almost unlimited sizing from a wide variety of standard size barriers which have no restrictions from a fixed top and bottom track section. Simple DIY installation and great flexibility in sizing and use. Wall mounted or free standing options are all available depending on your site requirements. The diamond design of the Xpanda trackless barrier system is a result of a simple system of a steel trellis with a fixed steel channel either end for fixing to various options, including directly to the building or aperture. Each unit comes with steel hinges to enable one side to be hinged is required, swinging aside when closed up to nearly a full 180 degrees. The sash when fully closed up is around 15-20% of the width of the unit width size when opened. The steel barrier itself is constructed from 12.7mm x 12.7mm x 0.9mm cold rolled steel tubular sections fitted into a 38mm steel u channel section at either end. The steel sections are fixed together with pivot pins to form multiple diamond shaped open sections. All steel sections are electro plated and use an epoxy coating process for the best protection in so many different environments externally. These are for internal or external use. Choose from a simple lock for one side to more complex arrangements to suit site conditions.

Free Standing Barriers

Using one or more trolleys with single or double angled support wheels you can build a trackless barrier system to secure an opening or to maybe seal off a corner of a building using a right angle in the mix. The free standing units can connect together to close off large width indeed with a maximum standard height section of 2500mm.

Wall Mounted Barrier Systems

The trackless barriers are ideal for mounting to the face or reveal of any aperture. With the hinged and fixed side able to move between 0 and nearly 180 degrees there is a lot you can do with the final locking position of the barrier. Used to secure windows and doorways, this barrier is ideal for factories, shopping outlets, warehouses, showrooms, partitioning in any building, crowd control and so on… You can add simple bottom rolling wheels, attaching to one end or in between 2 units for support when moving and when in position.
