Description

The Robust Tuff-Dor 2.1 is a fully certified security steel doorset with LPS 1175 SR2 rating.

LPS1175 (SR2 Issue 8) certified and Secured by Design accredited to offer enhanced security against forced entry and burglary attempts. It is fast becoming the ‘go to’ steel doorset for multiple applications on industrial and commercial buildings around the UK. Proper security and a high specification doorset in terms of component and finish quality with up to 10 year warranty.

As with all Robust steel doorsets, the door is constructed from Magnelis steel for a superior corrosion resistance as most security rated doors are used on the external envelope of any building, so protection from the elements is a necessity.

Tuff-Dor 2.1 has additional internal reinforcement in strategic locations to provide additional attack resistance and strength.

The door is also offered with a wide variety of hardware to offer personnel and fire escape functionality to BS EN 1125 or BS EN 179, further protection for people and the building itself from a truly outstanding high quality doorset.

This door can also be offered with a 60 minute fire rating - Tuff-Dor 2.1 FD60

Tuff-Dor is available in a single leaf or double leaf configuration as well as available in stainless steel if required.  Maximum width is 2520mm and 2750mm high in double leaf format as overall frame sizes.

The Tuff-Dor 2.1 is available with up to 10 years anti corrosion warranty when manufactured in the magnelis steel (except when doors are located in C4 or C5 environment).

Anti corrosion warranty applies to door carcass only unless Samson Doors are informed prior to manufacture and additional protection offered for components not available in Magnelis. i.e. vision panels, louvre panels.

Doors manufactured in Aluzinc would carry a 12 month anti corrosion warranty unless enhanced PPC finish is applied.

All doors carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects.

All warranties subject to site maintenance being performed at regular intervals as outlined in the project O&M manual.

Measure

A steel doorset is always ordered by the OVERALL dimensions including the door leaf and outer sub fixing frame with no tolerances allowed for. Most people would generally allow 5mm tolerance all the way around the door, but it all depends on how square or true your aperture is on site.

This means if your structural opening size is measured as 1000mm width and 2100mm height the door and frame ought to be 990mm wide and 2090mm high with the frame and any threshold included.
Always measure the top, middle and bottom of your aperture width and the left and right hand side for the height and if possible do a measure to make sure the opening is square as well.

Always use millimetres for measuring as this is how we relay back the ordering dimensions to you for checking and approving a drawing for your order.

The Tuff-Dor 2.1 does have an adjustable fitting frame to take up to 30mm of tolerance into account which helps when the opening is not square.
