How Our Estimating Works
Our initial consultation and estimates are based on the drawings, photos and dimensions you provide.
- We review your information first to confirm a viable, compliant solution.
- We do not travel the country doing “free estimates” where no solution may be possible.
- This saves time for everyone and focuses our site visits on genuine projects.
What to Send Us
- Architects’ drawings or marked-up sketches
- Specification documents or schedules
- Clear photos of the opening and surrounding structure
- Approximate opening sizes (width, height, thickness where relevant)
- Any known performance requirements (fire rating, security level, acoustic, usage)
- Project location and whether you need supply only or supply and install
We can work from most common file formats sent by email, fax or post.
When We Visit Site
Once we have reviewed your information and confirmed that a practical solution exists, we will arrange a site survey where needed to:
- Check and confirm all final dimensions
- Review structural openings and interfaces
- Confirm access, fixing and installation details
Site visits are typically organised for larger, more complex or high value, complex industrial and commercial door packages.
