Sliding and Folding doors can incorporate one or more pedestrian access doors (wicket doors) which suits so many buildings where you want the door closed as much as possible to preserve energy and keep prying eyes out but you also have a lot of staff entering and exiting all day long. The built in pedestrian door can have no threshold or a minimal low threshold, all depending on the exact position and requirements. The door can even have panic hardware fitted and act as a part of your fire strategy and the perfect pedestrian fire exit. All our sliding and folding doors are manufactured from galvanised steel, with all models, except one, being a double skinned construction, with either a CF free foam core or mineral wool infill, providing thermal and acoustic protection in both directions. The door panels wil vary between 50mm and up to 90mm in depth depending on the final size. Our fire rated steel doors are perfect for internal segregation of building areas and compliance with fire regulations whilst also being a great door solution too. Steel is perfect for all industrial doors, stronger than most other materials, resilient to daily knocks and bangs and with modern paint processes can look as good if not better than other materials too.
