The SeceuroShield 38 security shutter is manufactured from exceptionally strong extruded aluminium slats providing excellent resistance to attempted forced entry.

The SeceuroShield 38 is suited to domestic, retail, commercial & bar/servery/kiosk/cabinet style environments.

The shutter can be fitted to a window or door.

It is particularly useful when a specific colour of curtain is required as the shutter can be powdercoated to any RAL or BS colour at a moderate extra charge.
White, brown, black or cream are offered as standard colours.
Please Note: colour references on standard product are a guide only and will not match powdercoated finish.

Band A, B and C: The bottom slat colour will be colour matched to the curtain as standard. Box and Guide Rail colour may attract a surcharge on special RAL or BS coloured doors.

H30 Guides are supplied as standard. H17 and H25 on request. H17 Guide Rails only suitable for internal use only. H40/S Guides are used where additional security is required. Wind end locks will be fitted to the curtain as standard when this option is selected.

Rod Crank
Rod crank Shutters are raised and lowered from inside by a geared rod crank winding handle which hangs down vertically underneath the box and secures on a clip when not in use.

Spring Loaded
Spring loaded for external operation on exit doors, shutters can be spring loaded with a transverse key lock in the bottom slat. Also a popular option for bar, servery, counter, cabinet and kiosk applications. (N.B. The bottom slat projects below the shutter when fully raised, check that this will not obstruct outward opening doors).

New Manual Lock: Orders placed for the Manual SeceuroGlide or Commercial Steel Shutters will be manufactured with a new bottom slat lock.

At just 6mm thick this new high quality lock is much slimmer than the current one and so is a neater fit in the SeceuroGlide slat and the commercial bottom rail. It also has a smoother operation than the lock it replaces. The lock can be easily retro-fitted onto existing products using a standard kit of parts.

SeceuroShield Warranty Details

SeceuroShield products are backed by a parts-only warranty from Samson Doors and SWS UK:

• 2 years for general product components.
• 5 years for motors and controls.
• 12 months for replacement electrical parts, or the remainder of the original warranty—whichever is longer.

This warranty applies only when the product is installed, maintained, and operated according to SWS UK guidelines.

What the Warranty Covers: SWS UK will repair or replace any part found to have a manufacturing defect during the warranty period. Labour costs and other associated expenses are not included.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover:

• Labour, call-out fees, transport, or other consequential costs.
• Cosmetic marks or blemishes not visible from 3 metres in natural light.
• Damage or faults caused by:
  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow instructions.
  • Poor or improper maintenance.
  • Incorrect use or unauthorized modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear, accidental or malicious damage.
  • Impact damage, scratches, dents, or abrasions.
  • Use of non-SWS UK parts or unauthorized repairs.
  • Structural issues with mounting surfaces.
  • Attempts to reduce operating clearances.
  • External factors like extreme weather, fire, water, chemicals, or bird droppings.
  • Electrical faults or surges in the customer’s power supply.
• Rust or corrosion for products installed within 500 metres of the sea or saltwater.
• Consumables such as fuses, light bulbs, or batteries.
• Any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage.
