The SeceuroShield 77 security roller shutter is one of the most diverse electric roller shutter products we offer, using the renowned 77mm double skinned insulated aluminium slat used on so many types of roller doors and shutters throughout the UK. It is a security shutter which offers both security and insulation in one product. Increased thermal and acoustic protection in one. In effect this roller shutter can be used either as a roller shutter door or a security shutter with tweaks on the controls and any safety detection systems required.

This shutter is made to measure as standard to the millimetre in sizes up to 5400mm width and 4000mm high. It is electrically driven using a 240V tube motor system which offers up to 20 operations per day as a standard rating, meaning it is a shutter to be used on any application where it is used less than 20 times per day, which is most shutters in reality in domestic or commercial applications.

This shutter has one of the largest standard colour ranges with the curtain slats powdercoated on both sides so it can be externally or internally fitted with the same colour either side of the curtain presented. it is smooth, quiet and robust when closed. The 77mm double skinned slat is the same slat as used on our wide range of roller garage doors so it is not out of place used as a roller door within the generous size ranges offered..

The Seceuroshield 77 is one of the most versatile electric security shutters on the UK market with the abiity to be a shutter or a door using the exact same slat and specification but simply adjusting your door controls to suit. The double skinned aluminium insulated curtain is strong and availabel in 25 standard colours for the same price which makes it ideal for so many applications. 240V tube motor drive and you choose your controls for the door to suit you, whether that is a simple hold to run switch on a wall or remote controls and smart control options from Somfy and other providers.

Ideal for single or double insulated garage doors or any medium size doorway aperture whether that be a workshop or storage building. Higher security domestic shutters, medium security commercial and office entrance doors and external shopfronts.

Wider sizes are designed for internal applications only making them ideal for use as room dividers, etc. Mix with SeceuroVision 800 for partial vision through the shutter if required.

Electric Motor & Switch
Electric Motors are required on larger shutters and are optional on smaller shutters. A 240V tubular motor fits inside the axle to roll the curtain up and down. Simplest operation is either by a wall mounted, hard wired rocker switch, key switch. Remote control can be specified using a variety of controls and either remote handsets or other wireless controls such as digital keypads or card readers to name a couple.
A manual override can be specified to operate from inside. Where required a manual override can also be engaged through the outside of an externally fitted shutter box. Under these circumstances a lockable override cover is available as an optional extra to maximise security.
Multi-shutter electric installations can be wired to operate from a central or group command switch, or controlled usig Somfy smart technology and a Somfy app which can be used with the Tahoma Switch, allowing over 200 shutters to be controlled from one device.

SeceuroShield 77 Warranty Details

SeceuroShield products are backed by a parts-only warranty from Samson Doors and SWS UK:

• 2 years for general product components.
• 5 years for motors and controls.
• 12 months for replacement electrical parts, or the remainder of the original warranty—whichever is longer.

This warranty applies only when the product is installed, maintained, and operated according to SWS UK guidelines.

What the Warranty Covers: SWS UK will repair or replace any part found to have a manufacturing defect during the warranty period. Labour costs and other associated expenses are not included.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover:

• Labour, call-out fees, transport, or other consequential costs.
• Cosmetic marks or blemishes not visible from 3 metres in natural light.
• Damage or faults caused by:
  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow instructions.
  • Poor or improper maintenance.
  • Incorrect use or unauthorized modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear, accidental or malicious damage.
  • Impact damage, scratches, dents, or abrasions.
  • Use of non-SWS UK parts or unauthorized repairs.
  • Structural issues with mounting surfaces.
  • Attempts to reduce operating clearances.
  • External factors like extreme weather, fire, water, chemicals, or bird droppings.
  • Electrical faults or surges in the customer’s power supply.
• Rust or corrosion for products installed within 500 metres of the sea or saltwater.
• Consumables such as fuses, light bulbs, or batteries.
• Any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage.
