The Sommer Base+ comes with x2 Pearl Vibe Transmitters as standard.
The Sommer Base+ has integrated LED technology, which is durable, energy-saving and has efficient lighting.
In case of an attempted break-in the motor has high automatic locking and active counter-pressure at all points.
The integrated emergency release allows the carriage to be engaged and disengaged in any position.

The Sommer Base+ has a high-quality fixed chain (galvanised nickel-plated) which is wear and maintenance free, and pre-tensioned via springs with high tensile strength.
The ceiling mounting unit is flexible and versatile.

Lock - Locking Magnet
Magnet motor lock which mechanically blocks the motor in any position (including with ventilation function) up to an attack force of 300kg, thereby improving the existing break-in protection.
Buzzer - Alarm/warning buzzer
Two functions in one product: The alarm buzzer recognises an attempted break-in and outputs a loud signal tone. The warning buzzer, on the other hand, outputs an acoustic signal during the closing process or when the wicket door is open.
Relay - Additional relay
Additional relay for the additional connection of a garage or courtyard light or another 230 V consumer (max. switching capacity 5 A, AC 250 V or DC 24 V). A door status display can also be integrated as an option.
Laser - Parking position laser
Gives optical assistance for perfect positioning of the vehicle in the garage. The laser is active during the opening process and the set lighting time.
Motion - Motion detector
A passive infrared sensor detects invisible thermal radiation from moving bodies (people/animals etc.) and issues a response. When you enter the garage, the lighting on the operator is automatically switched on (supplemental lighting/relay) so that you can move around safely.
Battery Back Up - Emergency power supply
Supplies energy to the operator for > 5 door cycles in the event of a power failure.
WarrantySommer offer the following parts guarantee from the SOMMER date of invoice:
5 years on the operator system, motor and motor controller
2 years on radio equipment, accessories, tubular motors and barriers
Consumables and wear parts, e.g. batteries, light bulbs etc. are excluded from the warranty.
The warranty period for remedial work and subsequent deliveries is 6 months, but at least the current warranty period.
Making a claim under the warranty does not extend the original warranty period.
Requirements
The warranty is only valid in the country in which the product was purchased. The product must have been purchased via a sales channel specified by SOMMER. A corresponding purchase document must be available and submitted. Indirect customers of SOMMER must contact the business partner from whom the product was purchased.
The warranty applies exclusively for damage to the contract item itself.
The overall system (e.g. operator and gate/door) was serviced in accordance with the applicable standards (e.g. ASR A1.7) at the prescribed intervals. Corresponding documents must be submitted in evidence of this.
Warranty services
Any defects in a product which can be proven to be the result of a material or production fault will be remedied by SOMMER within the warranty period. We undertake to either repair the faulty goods free of charge, to replace them with good ones or provide a partial reimbursement, at our own discretion. Ownership of replaced parts passes to SOMMER.
Please note that the voluntary manufacturer’s warranty applies exclusively to private use of the system. Private use is defined as a maximum of 10 cycles (OPEN/CLOSE) per day. Industrial applications with a significantly higher number of cycles must be agreed upon with SOMMER prior to purchase and on a case-to-case basis.
Reimbursement of expenses for removal and replacement as well as for checking of the relevant parts and claims relating to lost earnings and compensation are not covered by the warranty. Removal or obscuring of the type plate will render the warranty null and void.
Damage resulting from the following is also excluded from the warranty:
improper installation and connection
improper commissioning and operation
mechanical damage caused by accidents, falls, impact
external influences such as fire, water, abnormal environmental conditions
repair by unqualified personnel
negligent or deliberate destruction
normal wear and tear or failure to perform maintenance
the use of non-original parts
