SeceuroShield Industrial Range
The SeceuroShield 75 is now available in either a ‘Continental’ version, as produced previously, and now a more ‘traditional’ shutter version, still using a single phase electric tube motor, but using an industrial style set of guide options and a larger barrel to provide widths up to 7000mm and heights up to 5000mm. This is a great roller shutter door for most applications where single phase power is only available and where there may be some restrictions in the installation zone. It is for low to medium daily use and where high usage is required you ned to look at 3 phase motors and the SeceuroDoor range of doors.
Galvanised Steel Single Skin Continental Commercial Shutter
The Seceuroshield 75 is the most original roller shutter door with a very wide range of uses in the commercial, domestic or industrial sectors. It uses one of the most popular slat types for the UK market, a 75mm high ‘scrolled’ steel lath in a single skin galvanised steel construction.
The quality of these slats can vary considerably as well as the guage of thickness so be wary of inferior quality slats in these doors as they will look shoddy very quickly indeed, bearing in mind the slats roll over each other during operation so need to be durable from the start.

- Manual Spring & Lock – When there is no power available for electric operation or the shutter will not be opened very often. The solution is not available for shutters over 2.8 m tall.

The Traditional shutter version is a stronger overall construction, more suited to the larger sizes and the Continental design is better for small to medium sized applications and when a neater overall finish may be required with the finer detail.

LPCB are the UK’s leading independent certification body and the LPS 1175 standard is recognised and endorsed by 16 organisations including the Association of British Insurers and the Association of Police Officers.

Box Extension
A box extension is required on built-on SeceuroShield 75 shutters when the curtain weight exceeds 172 kg on a 4" axle and 134 kg on a 5" axle. The projection is just 30 mm for face fixed shutters. If the shutter is reveal fixed the gap is made up using a 30 mm packer, as shown in the illustration. The overall width used when pricing and ordering shutters with box extensions is the overguide width (not including the box extension or 30 mm packer).
