What Sizes are Sectional Door available in?
As a general guide, domestic sectional garage doors can be ordered in sizes up to 8 metres wide and 3 metres high, while industrial sectional doors are available up to 10 metres wide and 8 metres high.
Domestic Sectional Doors

Mid to Large Industrial Sizes

Sectional overhead doors are technically one of the best performing door types for all round performance in any environment. They can safely reach such large sizes because they are manufactured from double skinned steel insulated panels ranging between 40mm and 100mm thick. With a solid foam core centre, these panels produce an incredibly strong door with very little deflection.
Because the door is made up of multiple horizontal sections (usually between 300mm and 600mm tall), the combined strength when closed is excellent. This design guarantees:
